Build A Business Training Course
EMBERS' Build a Business is an affordable training program that helps individuals with an interest in entrepreneurship to develop a business plan. This part-time course consists of five modules;
- An introduction to the Entrepreneurial Mind
- Market Research
- Operations
- Financial Skills
- Marketing
With the exception of the Entrepreneurial Mind, which is one week in length and consists of two sessions of three hours each, the modules run for two weeks each and consist of four sessions of three hours each. In addition to course materials and classroom time, each participant may apply to receive one-on-one business coaching.
Grow A Business Seminar Series
Whether you've been running your business for one year or ten years, the Grow A Business Seminar Series is a great way to brush up on existing skills or learn about acquiring new skills.
The seminars are offered monthly and include topics relevant to running a business. We have already presented information on Technology Tools, Tax Preparation and show-cased an Entrepreneurial Panel. Please visit our Calendar of Events to find out topics and event dates.

Our one-on-one Business Coaching offers Build A Business participants the chance to work with seasoned business owners. Your Business Coach can work with you to set realistic goals, help you overcome obstacles, assist with writing your business plan and be with you to celebrate your successes. |
